In a game sure to have bettors and fantasy alike intrigued, Minnesota may be undefeated, but it absolutely begs the question — Can the NFL’s worst offense in terms of yards per play deserve a double-digit point spread? Only one way to find out …

Miami Dolphins Fantasy Preview
What terrible things can I say about Miami that haven’t been said already? Owners of the league’s lowest offensive scoring output (12.0 PPG), the Dolphins spent an almost unbelievable 90.8% of snaps trailing in 2026. Wow. What started as a flawed roster is now absorbing substantial injuries — and it feels safe to say this teal-and-orange boat’s taking on water.
Malik Willis is still healthy, and that’s something, but he’ll need improvements in his game as the season progresses — something, mind you, that’s never out of the question for first-year players. Don’t listen to the most ardent detractors; there’s absolutely a glimmer of hope here.
For starters, the former third-rounder out of Liberty College posted two separate games with a yards/attempt north of 8.0. We also like QBs to push the ball downfield, and Willis is T-10th in attempts of +20 air yards (12). What else do we love in a fantasy quarterback? If you answered rushing floor, that’s correct — and he’s fourth among starting QBs in scramble rate (11.3%) and fifth in rushing yards (101). So no, I’m not saying we’re misconstruing an ongoing breakout … but the foundational pieces for fantasy success are still firmly in place.
The rest of the offense is more or less a disaster area after losing stud RB De’Von Achane. Desperate GMs flocked toward Ollie Gordon, though Jaylen Wright missed the game and has played in front of Gordon in the past. When asked either/or, my answer’s closer to neither. I get the desperation aspect, but if Achane couldn’t get home in this environment, why would his backups?
Pass catching on the Dolphins’ front may be equally gross after an injury to emerging rookie WR Caleb Douglas, but the ball has to go somewhere. By default, third-year, sixth-rounder Malik Washington has assumed a crucial role in the offense with team share numbers too high for the waiver. Even on the league’s worst offense (ahem), 27.1% team target, 31.6% team air yards, and 24.2% team receiving yards shares can’t be left on the wire.
You can leave a light on for TE Greg Dulcich; also a desperation play, his advanced metrics versus the Chiefs were encouraging (24.1% target/route, 1.90 yards/route). Just remember you want to sit all your Dolphins versus Brian Flores 'pressure-packed defensive scheme.
- Start: Malik Washington (WR40), Greg Dulcich (TE30)
- Sit: Malik Willis (QB30), Ollie Gordon (RB37)
- Sleeper: Chris Bell (WR62)
Minnesota Vikings Fantasy Preview
The world finally got a look at Kyler Murray for a full game in purple versus the Bucs, and besides winning the game, there was very little to get excited about. Granted, it could be rust or lack of repetitions with this Vikings team, but for all intents and purposes, he played terribly.
Murray looked rushed and indecisive, often making inaccurate throws off a shuffling back foot. Needless to say, at 15-29; 168-1-1, -0.42 EPA/attempt, 51.7% completion, and a 66.5 pass rating, there’s lots of room for improvement. Luckily for him, the Dolphins roll into town, allowing the worst EPA/dropback (-0.48) and completion rate allowed (80.3%) — plus, they’re the only team in the NFL yet to record a sack. That’s crazy, come on …
Losing superstar Justin Jefferson would obviously hurt any offense, though fortunately for Minnesota, the once-ignored Jordan Addison stepped in admirably. Easily Murray’s top target, Addison posted excellent advanced metrics with K1 under center (28.1% target/route, 2.81 yards/route) and should be treated as WR1 until Jefferson returns from his ankle injury. When Jefferson’s playing, it’s back to the fantasy scrap heap.
Desperate GMs may look to Jauan Jennings as a short-term replacement as well, even if the fantasy ceiling’s relatively low as constituted. Jennings played essentially every down, earning both targets and the entirety of his (1-1-0) production from the slot. Yes, a whole 1.1 points … whoopty-doo.
Aaron Jones stands to really benefit from the soft matchup Sunday, racking up a ridiculous 45 touches in a two-game span, good for 85% of total backfield opportunity share. With that, Jones is no spring chicken, and having doubts over sustainability is totally normal. I’m holding onto rookie Demond Claiborne just in case, despite getting nothing out of him thus far.
- Start: Kyler Murray (QB12), Aaron Jones (RB13), Jordan Addison (WR29)
- Sit: Jauan Jennings (WR79)
- Sleeper: T.J. Hockenson (TE22)
Next Week's Bold Headline, Today
Kyler Murray puts up his best game in recent memory as the Vikings’ D proves too intense for Willis’ processing skills, yet questions remain about Murray’s rest-of-season outlook since the Dolphins’ defense is just that bad.
